‘Tiny’ Harris visits Baltimore to promote Tiny’s Tequila

For years in hip-hop, aspiring male moguls were the ones pushing liquor brands, from Sean Combs’ deal with Diageo’s Ciroc and DeLeon brands to Birdman’s affiliation with Grand Touring Vodka.

But in January 2013, when Nicki Minaj became a part-owner and face of Myx Fusions’ moscato wine beverage, the “Pinkprint” star helped open a lane for women in the hip-hop community to explore similar business opportunities.

Tameka “Tiny” Harris is the latest female figure to push some alcohol, and on Saturday, she’ll host a launch party for Tiny’s Tequila at Paparazzi (407 E. Saratoga St.) from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. Two types of the fruit-flavored-infused tequila, Orange Blossom (honey-orange) and Lime Light (lime), will be available.
